Our sports philosoph

Each one of our coaches has decades of experience from their work and each one is still continuing to develop and increase their know-how.

Along the years we have developed a training philosophy which goes by the name of ‘Circuit of Excellence’. We keep this as the very core idea of our coaching philosophy when training our athletes.
Our techniques are based on training vertically on three different levels (Low, Middle and High). The fourth level symbolizes the top level of each sport, which is refined by specific sports exercises.
Every training level supports the other. Different levels can be crisscrossed or executed clockwise/counter clockwise thus ensuring better progress.

We have for example given training to athletes who are extremely good with both high-level and mid-level exercises, but at the same time the low-level body control and finding the power centers have been neglected. With the low-level exercises we have been able to drastically improve the multi-dimensional body control, strength and stability.
In this training concept every level supports the other making the puzzle as complete as possible.

This is where the name of the concept ‘Circuit of Excellence’ comes from.

Pienryhmätreenit Urheilijalle

VERTICAL LOW training is based on vertical low-level exercises. All the exercises that are done e.g. on tatami/molski belong to this type of training. Some of the traditional gymnastics exercises such as rolls, cartwheels and different types of mat games are included in the training. There is a strong emphasis on different moves that stabilize the core.

The idea with the Vertical Low training is to strengthen the body in multiple ways and to teach body control even in difficult circumstances. In this part the athlete’s mobility is improved safely and effectively.

VERTICAL MIDDLE part is about executing exercises from the mid-level upwards. Practice also ties the low-level Low training into the high-level High training.

Running ladders, change of direction exercises, rhythmic practicing, mobility and agility exercises, jumps and stability exercises all belong to this part.

The aim of this type of training is to smoothen out the cooperation between muscle chains and to prepare muscle nerve lines to work synchronously in various movement ranges within each sport.

Vertical High training is purely about speed and strength exercises on the vertical high level. Exercises performed in a standing position, i.e. running and weight lifting are clearly included in this part. The foundation for this level has been laid with the low-level exercises so that it is safe to continue practicing harder full body strength/speed exercises.

Strength and speed training is always done periodically according to the requirements of each sport.

Sports section means refining the physical performance level in each sports practice. When practicing physically you have to always remember the goal for the practice and make sports analysis based on the goal. A well-practiced athlete will be refined to his full potential only within his own sport exercises. The purpose of all the other exercises is therefore to create a physically strong athlete in his own sport!

Physiotheraphy

Physiotherapy also works to prevent issues and injuries prior to them occuring by helping clients understand and maintain their functional capacity.
